Los Angeles: Pop star Taylor Swift made one young cancer sufferer's dream come true by meeting with the young girl backstage at her concert in Georgia.

Six-year-old Taylor Rayburn suffers from a rare form of kidney cancer and had to spend her sixth birthday in an Alabama hospital to undergo treatment.

Rayburn's mother decided to surprise her daughter with tickets to the "Shake It Off" star's show on Saturday, but her special night turned into a dream come true after she was spotted by Swift's mother, Andrea, and invited backstage.

"Since Taylor spent her birthday in the hospital we surprised her this weekend with a trip to Atlanta and Taylor Swift concert tickets," Rayburn's mother wrote on Facebook.
"Our seats happened to be close to where Taylor Swift's entourage was. Taylor Swift's mom noticed Taylor and let Taylor sit next to her for a song and at the end of the concert took us backstage to meet Taylor Swift!!!! Thanks Ms Andrea, dreams really do come true!"

The singer's mother was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
