Wiz Khalifa's 'See You Again' tribute to Paul Walker sets new streaming record

London: Wiz Khalifa's tribute song, 'See You Again,' to late actor Paul Walker has set a new streaming record.

The single, which topped the UK chart for a second week, features Charlie Puth on vocals and is played at the end of ' Furious 7 ' as a mark of respect to Walker, who died while filming for the blockbuster film was still going on in 2013, the BBC reported.

The quickest-selling song for the year managed to acquire 3.72 million listens in the last seven days, beating OMI's 'Cheerleader', which had 3.33 million streams, and former chart-topper Jess Glynne's 'Hold My Hand.'

Khalifa had told OfficialCharts.com that he hoped they were able to make Walker proud.
