London: The 2015 Oscars' security is at an all-time high amidst the fears of terrorist threats, it has been reported.

Millions of dollars have been spent beefing up security which includes more than 1,000 police, FBI and Homeland Security agents, the Daily Star reported.

The measures dubbed Operation Oscar and coordinated from a bunker close to the venue, will also include; concrete barriers across Hollywood Boulevard to stop kamikaze drivers, snipers on rooftops around the Dolby Theatre, a remote-controlled forklift truck, dubbed Bobcat, that can remove suspect vehicles and a robot to counter chemical or "environmental attacks".

Tim Horner, managing director at security firm Kroll, said that every nominee and guest, many with their own armed guards, will be screened by airport-style metal detectors for the first time inOscars history.
