Melbourne: The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has come up with a lucrative idea to raise awareness about abuse of animals. It is all set to draw the attention of millions of web surfers by launching its own `porn website`.
According to a daily, the animal rights group will make some drastic changes to their Internet domain and register themselves as www.peta.xxx .
"We are preparing to launch our own peta.xxx site, but instead of just showing people our iconic ads we then show them how animals suffer for entertainment," a website quoted spokeswoman Ashley Byrne as saying.
"Our racier actions are sometimes a way to get people to sit up and pay attention to the plight of animals," she said.
The browsers will show animal rights groups which are too hot for TV ads and campaigns.
However, this sexy section of PETA will direct the users to the menacing world of animal mistreatment.
Reportedly, these footages have been gathered by the group workers through hidden camera investigations.
