Chennai: Light-eyed beauty Shruti Haasan cannot stop raving about `Kolaveri Di` from her upcoming flick `3`. The daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan, Shruti, who is also a singer herself, is all praise for her co-star Dhanush.
However, she has blamed the song for putting her party life in trouble!
Talking to DNA, the pretty girl said, “When I first heard the song, I absolutely loved it. It’s unique, especially since it hardly has a handful of Tamil words in it. Dhanush has sung it so wonderfully.
His voice sets the song apart. Frankly, I didn’t expect the song to become such a rage. Kolaveri has forever ruined my entrance to any party...thanks to the number of requests we get to sing the song live. It is the next youth anthem, their own party anthem.”
But Shruti does have a song in the film to which she has lent her voice.
“I have sung another song in the film. That one is a lovely song too, but completely different from `Kolaveri`,” she said.
So what if you feel `Kolaveri Di` has ruined your party life, it has become so popular that no party in India will ever miss playing it!
