New Delhi: Popular Tamil actor Thala Ajith is fondly known as the 'King of Openings' – for his expertise in generating record-breaking popularity among audience with his movies.
According to a report by DNA, the actor's film 'Vedalam' which released on 10 November, 2015, witnessed a grand opening day.
The movie is said to have earned about Rs 14.5-16 crore in Tamil Nadu at the box office.
'Vedalam' was propelled by the energetic music of Anirudh and was eagerly waited on by the viewers.
The real victory is the fact that the movie managed to achieve this feat while another biggie of Kamal Haasan hit the theatres on the same day – 'Thoongavanam'.
