Mumbai: Senior Marathi actor-director Raghuvir Nevrekar passed away here after a brief illness.
He was 85.
Nevrekar was undergoing treatment at a private hospital since the last one week.
His character Falgunrao in Marathi musical play 'Sanshay Kallol' was well known.
He even starred in the first marathi television serial 'Shwetambara' in the 1980s.
Nevrekar was also the uncle of well-known Marathi actor Ashok Saraf.
