London: Kate Moss, who got hitched to Jamie Hince in a high profile wedding, was recently spotted having 3 bottles of beer and several cigarettes for breakfast, in Jamaica.
She went on a holiday to the Caribbean island with best friend Sadie Frost to alleviate what she terms ‘marriage shock’, caused by the mayhem in her life since she got married four months back.
After partying heavy the previous night, the 37-year-old model, who is also accompanied by her nine-year-old daughter Lila Grace for the trip, emerged from her five-star villa soon after 10am and began the day devouring beer from the comfort of a beachside sun lounger.
“It looked like it was a case of hair of the dog,” the Daily Mail quoted an onlooker as saying.
“Kate came out of the villa in a scruffy green T-shirt and bikini bottoms and headed to the beach.”
“She looked blotchy and worse for wear and knocked back three bottles of beer, which she washed down with Old Jamaica Ginger Beer,” the onlooker added.
According to friends, Kate booked the holiday so that she and husband Jamie, could spend ‘a bit of time apart’.
“They were getting under each other’s feet,” said a source.
“Kate has been calling it marriage shock. It’s nothing serious, but they agreed a holiday was a good idea. Jamie told her to remember that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and he thinks it will do them good,” the source added.
Sources at the Caribbean resort have also asserted that she has been chain-smoking every day of the holiday.
