On the work front, Shraddha is currently shooting for 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the lead besides Shraddha. It is directed by 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' helmer Shree Narayan Singh.
In the film, Shahid reportedly plays a young guy from Uttarakhand who is a diehard romantic.
The film is written by Vipul K Rawal and is produced by Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series.
Like his previous outing, the filmmaker has addressed yet another issue which a common man faces every day. The film is likely to bring forth the problem of electricity bills and how it affects the daily life.
