AHMEDABAD: Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that he turned the money of all black money holders in the country into white.
"The money of all thieves in India was turned white by Modi Ji," he said.
The Congress VP's comment came while he was addressing a rally in Dakor area of Kheda district, ahead of the second phase of Gujarat Assembly elections 2017.
Rahul is scheduled to address three more public gatherings at Banaskantha, Aravali and Gandhinagar.
Earlier in the day, the Gandhi scion visited Shree Ranchhodji temple in Dakor. His schedule also includes offering of prayers at Shamlaji Temple.
