AK 47, petrol bombs, iron rods recovered from Dera supporters in Haryana

Following the violent protest by Dera Sacha Sauda followers post-Gurmeet Ram Rahim's conviction in a rape case, a cache of explosives from Dera centres spread across Haryana and Punjab.

Chandigarh: Following the violent protest by Dera Sacha Sauda followers post-Gurmeet Ram Rahim's conviction in a rape case, a cache of explosives from Dera centres spread across Haryana and Punjab. 

Several pistols, rifles, AK 47, iron rods, hockey sticks, axes etc were recovered from the supporters. 

Haryana DGP today informed that petrol bombs were also recovered from the supporters in Panchkula. 

Three petrol bombs, batons and cans were seized in Karnal. 

All objectionable objects have been seized and Dera has been completely vacated, Kaithal DC told media. 

There are about 3000-4000 people at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa and are vacating gradually. At Sirsa's Bajenka village, people have vacated the Dera Sacha Sauda ashram and the premises are being inspected by police and Army.
