Mumbai, Feb 11: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has received a threatening letter from an anonymous person, informed the police on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bandra region, Amitabh Gupta said that the star had received the anonymous letter a month ago and had informed the police.
"The issue does not appear to be serious and we are not investigating the matter," he said adding the police had earlier checked the matter thoroughly.
Asked if there was any underworld element involved, Gupta refused to comment saying, "I have nothing more to say about the matter."
