Amitabh Bachchan, who reinvented his sagging career through a television game show, will return to the small screen very soon, a newspaper report said on Tuesday.
The Mumbai Mirror said Bachchan was in talks with several television channels for a variety of shows, including soap operas and non-fiction.
"I plan to take up one or maybe even more of these offers very shortly," Bachchan, 64, said.
The tall actor with a silver French-cut saw his film career plummet in the late-1990s and had business troubles in his entertainment company.
But he went on to host an Indian version of the famous TV game show "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire", which became hugely popular and firmly re-established him as India`s leading actor.
He has not featured in any other TV shows since.
