As the cricketing world gathers to celebrate the centenary birth anniversary of the ‘All time greatest batsman’ Sir Donald Bradman, the Australian cricket board is not interested in getting the possible batting average of their legendary batsman changed at the moment.
"At this stage we are not going for the extensive research work and then again going to the ICC for Bradman`s record runs," Peter Young, the CA official said from Melbourne.

"Sincere and serious efforts put in by the Australian sports statistician Charles Davis for finding out the mistakes in the scores of various Tests - Don Bradman`s Tests in particular, must be a very painstaking and laborious job and hence he needs to be complimented for his research, just from the point of view of setting the house of the game of cricket in its proper shape and order," India`s noted cricket statistician Sudhir Vaidya says.

"In good old days, the scoring methods were not absolutely foolproof and with the advancing technology, perhaps, such mistakes, whenever detected, should be set right," Vaidya added.

"While on the subject, Charles Davis` findings will change the entire history of the game of cricket when Bradman`s career figures will change radically. And if this exercise is extended to various other celebrities, I leave it to one`s imagination of how many such records will get altered and in what respect," Vaidya said.
