Mumbai, May 06: Dabur India Ltd., has posted a net profit of 265.90 million rupees for the quarter ended March 31, 2004 as compared to 181 million rupees in the quarter ended March 31, 2003. Total income has increased from 2569.60 million rupees in MQ-03 to 2935.20 million rupees in the quarter ended March 31, 2004, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company has posted a net profit of 1012 million rupees for the year ended March 31, 2004 as compared to 719.70 million rupees for the year ended March 31, 2003. Total Income has increased from 10534.10 million rupees for FY-03 to 11590.30 million rupees in the year ended March 31, 2004.
The consolidated results are as follows: The Group has posted a net profit after Minority Interest of 1365.30 million rupees for the year ended March 31, 2004 as compared to 779.30 million rupees for the year ended March 31, 2003. Total Income has increased from 11908.60 million rupees in FY-03 to 13386.30 million rupees in FY 04.
Dabur Limited's board said it has recommended a dividend of 140% for 2003-04 (April-March). The company will seek shareholders' approval for the final dividend at its annual general meeting whose date is yet to be decided.
