New Delhi, Feb 06: Decks were cleared for overseas release of the film 'Dil Maange More' starring Shahid Kapoor and Soha Ali Khan after the producer of the movie gave an undertaking before the Delhi High Court on the exclusive right of Pepsi over the phrase.
Fourth Wall Productions and Director of the film Anant Mahadevan in an undertaking before Justice T S Thakur accepted that softdrink major was the exclusive owner of the phrase "Yeh Dil Maange More" which was similar to the name of the movie.
The film maker said that in the promotion of the movie, the name of Pepsi will be incorporated.

Pepsi guaranteed the licence to the producers on a token fee of Rs 101.

The High Court in an interim order on January 4 had restrained the producers and director of the film from licensing its international distribution/overseas release, video, cable, and Internet rights or any other electronic rights by using the title 'Dil Maange More' which was similar to popular phrase "Yeh Dil Maange More" used by softdrink giant Pepsi in its commercial.

Pepsi had approached the court, contending that it has exclusive copyright and trademark rights over the use of the phrase "Yeh Dil Maange More".
