Panaji, June 06: Fransisco Pacheco, a minister in
the Pratapsingh Rane ministry, was today unanimously elected as
the leader of Goa NCP legislature party.
Pacheco, who won from Benaulim constituency, was elected
as the leader by two other members of the party--Jose Philip
(Vasco) and Nilkant Halarnkar (Tivim).
"The meeting was held under chairmanship of Goa unit
president Wilfred d'Souza," Pacheco told after the
meeting.
He said the party leaders, which had pre-poll alliance
with Congress, is meeting Congress tomorrow and would discuss
government-formation.
