Mumbai, March 19: The Angel faced Katrina Kaif has taken the tinsel town by storm. After delivering four sensational hits last year – Namstey London, Apne, Partner and Welcome – she is ready to set the silver screen on fire through her latest item number in the upcoming flick ‘Blue’.
She has already made a huge impact through her hot number ‘Bin Tere Sanam’ in soon-to-be-released ‘Race’, where she is seen alluring Saif.
Sources told Zee News that Katrina has been offered a whopping Rs 1.5 crore for performing an item number and a few more scenes in ‘Blue’, which has Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Lara Dutta in lead roles. Katrina is said to have given her dates for the film, which is to be shot in May.
Although, Parag Desai, the media consultant of Shree Ashtavinayak for Blue, has confirmed the news but the amount offered to Katrina is not being disclosed. He has revealed that Katrina has a proper role in the movie and not just an item number.
Looks like Katrina wants to do away with the goodie goodie image and give item-girls like Rakhi Sawant and Mallika Sherawat a run for their money.
