Mumbai, Feb 12: Renowned Bollywood actor Anupam Kher today announced that he would donate his two-acre plot at Karjat, near here, for tsunami victims.
The two-acre plot would be handed over to a NGO – SOS children's villages of India - which is expected to begin work in the tsunami-ravaged Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kher told reporters here.

His autobiographical play 'Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai' would be staged on February 19 in suburban Bandra for tsunami victims, the actor said and added, the proceeds collected from the play would also go to the NGO.

SOS children's villages of India president J N Kaul said the NGO would set up three villages at Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Pondicherry and Kanyakumari for children.

"About 104 children have been orphaned in Car Nicobar Islands itself and now is the time for their re-habilitation", Kaul added.
