Kumble, Ponting agree to play in the right spirit

Perth, Jan 14: The talks between Indian skipper Anil Kumble and Australian captain Ricky Ponting on Monday ended on a positive note as both agreed start afresh, keeping the past differences apart. Kumble said that his team will try to forget the past and move on for the better of the game.
He added that the team hoped for a better future and saw Perth s a new beginning for both the teams. Ponting also said that he, along with his team, will play with true sportsman spirit.

Kumble, on being asked about the meeting also said that the two skippers had a good conversation and things would definitely be better for both the teams now.
