Mitsui to buy Siemens' train leasing unit, order 50 engines

Mitsui, Japan's second largest trading company, said it will buy Siemens's train leasing unit.

Tokyo, Sept 21: Mitsui, Japan's second
largest trading company, said it will buy Siemens's train
leasing unit.

Mitsui will sign a contract with Siemens by the end of
October, it said in a statement to the Tokyo Stock Exchange,
which didn't include a purchase price.

The Tokyo-based company will also order 50 locomotives
from Siemens in a deal worth about 213 million dollar, it
said.
