New Delhi, June 23: IT products maker Moser Baer
on Tuesday launched a new range of LCD televisions as part of its
plans to sell 20,000 units in the country in next one year.
"Last year, we entered into the segment and now our
products are available at around 450 outlets across the
country and with the launch of new range, we are targeting to
sell around 20,000 units in next one year," Moser Baer India
Vice President Consumer Electronics Rajiv Kenue said.
Moser Baer announced the launch of eight new models
ranging between 19 inches and 42 inches, and are priced in the
range between Rs 14,900 and Rs 57,900.
The company is getting these products imported from
Europe and China.
"Design, specification and software etc are done by the
company itself and the production is currently outsourced to
third party manufacturers in Europe and China," Kenue said.
Speaking about the companies plan, he said, Mose Baer is
launching an aggressive ad-campaign to market its products in
the country.
