Meerut, Oct 08: A day after Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav lashed out at the Governor for
refusing to swear in two RLD leaders as ministers, Rashtriya
Lok Dal chief Ajit Singh on Sunday said he did not suspect any
"political conspiracy" and that it was just a legal issue.

Singh said by refusing to administer oath of office to
Tarachand Shastri and Khalid Chaudhary who were not members of
either house of legislature, Governor T V Rajeshwar raised
some legal points and experts would be consulted on the
matter.

Yadav yesterday told reporters that the Governor had
violated the constitution by refusing to administer oath to
the two RLD leaders.

Speaking at a rally here, the RLD leader said his
party's demand for "Harit Pradesh" comprising areas of western
UP was aimed at bringing development to the area.

People of the area who have been demanding a High Court
bench for long would get the court instead of just a bench if
the demand for a new state was met, he said.
