Mumbai, April 01: The Sanjay Dutt – Manyata marriage saga seems to be getting complicated minute by minute. Dutt along with Manyata was all set to appear in court today for a hearing, when much of the action unfolded outside the court.

Speaking to the press outside the courthouse, Meraj, Manyata’s alleged first husband, said, “I want Sanjay Dutt to leave my wife and I feel that he should remain behind the bars for marrying an already married woman. I have nothing to do with Manyata, I just want my son back”.
April 15 has been decided as the next date for the hearing on this case, where Sanjay and Manyata will have to appear in the court with all important documents to prove the legality of their marriage.

Dutt married Manyata as per Hindu rites on February 11, but the wedding ran into rough weather after a Mumbai undertrial, Meraj Rehman, made bigamy allegations claiming that he was still Manyata`s husband. Dutt and Manyata will be appearing for hearing on the case filed by Meraj, who claims that he and Dutt`s bride are not yet divorced.

The couple’s first wedding in Goa came under the legal scanner, as the Goa marriage registrar`s office sent a notice to Manyata for reportedly submitting a fake residential certificate at the time of marriage.

Replying to the notice, Dutt and Manyata filed an application to the Goa marriage registrar seeking to cancel their marriage, which was accepted by the registrar.
