Thinking about ‘prince charming’ or ‘my girl’ never led the mind to even think loving someone in his/her absence. Waiting endlessly for that perfects someone has sometimes led us to find love in the remotest corners of earth. The moulding of relationship from friendship to love among pen pals, net friends or even exchanging contacts between casual acquaintances are few instances, which can be summoned in few words –
“Don’t hunt for love, the love will find you”.
My friend is currently trying her share of short spell of separation from her beloved but it’s amazing to see her cope so well with it. Her fiancée has been out of station for nearly a month and she says that she now knows more about him in a month than she did when she got engaged three months before!
Long distance relationships share the same facts as an average relationship but depend largely on trust, honesty and regular communication. For most couples, love blossoms when they have the blessings of companionship but in LDR, the choice of each other’s company is rare.
One tends to become suspicious at the slightest hint of unfaithfulness from the partner. Despair overcomes when these doubt become real. LDRs are known to test the faithfulness of a partner. They check the limits of your love, but reward you in the end with a partner who is too glad to have you as a part of life or at least the freedom of choice.
