New Delhi, Aug 25: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee will meet presidential aspirants Al Gore and George Bush during his 13-day visit to the US, which would start with his address to the UN Millennium Summit in New York on September 8.
While vice-president and Democratic candidate Al Gore would be hosting a lunch for Vajpayee on September 15 when the prime minister would meet President Bill Clinton, Republican nominee Bush is also expected to have a meeting with the Indian leader.
Vajpayee will hold bilateral meetings with a number of world leaders, a foreign office spokesman told reporters on Thursday. Details of the engagements were being worked out.
Vajpayee, leading a high-power Indian delegation, will address the Asia Society annual dinner in New York besides having an interactive session with the business community.
During his stay, he will also attend a function organised by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and a meeting by the India-America Association.
