Two shocking terror-related incidents have left the authorities flabbergasted in the time span of 24 hours. In the first incident, a burqa-clad woman attacked security forces in Jammu and Kashmir with a grenade. In the second incident, a press card was found to be in the possesion of a terrorist killed by the security forces.

In today's DNA, Zee News Editor-In-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary analyses how country's media and religion can be misused in activities that go against the national interest.

The woman, who attacked the CRPF camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramula, has been arrested now and further investigation is underway. A CCTV footage of the incident showed that the woman approaches the CRPF camp, and hurls a petrol bomb at it. She takes less than 15 seconds to carry oout the entire act.

A section of media had earlier claimed that this attacker was not a woman, but a terrorist who had disguised himself in burqa. However, the police investigation proved the narrative wrong and emerged that it was not a man, but a woman who carried out the attack.

In the other shocking incident, it emerged that one of the two terrorists who were eliminated in Sri Nagar on Tuesday, was holding a press card where his designation was mentioned as Editor-In-Chief of a local news channel.

A terrorist possessing a press card is a serious matter. It eventually means that this terrorist - with the help of a press card - had access to sensitive places. Investigations further revealed that the man, who has now been identified as Reeyaz Ahmed Bhatt, was actually a journalist who later picked up arms and joined millitancy.

Watch DNA with Sudhir Chaudhary for a detailed analysis of the two incidents.
