Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar criticized the Congress party, accusing it of failing to deliver on its promises after winning votes through "offers and freebies." Speaking to ANI, Khattar pointed to the situation in Himachal Pradesh, stating, "They have started charging electricity fares which they had earlier exempted." He further accused Congress of misleading voters by making promises on pension schemes like the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and the National Pension Scheme (NPS) without implementation. "We have now moved on from NPS and introduced the UPS," he added, stressing that the BJP fulfills promises after carefully considering the budget.
