Trinamool begins three-day protest against farm bills from Kolkata’s Gandhi statue. The party will be protesting on December 8,9 and 10. On December 10, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee will be attending the protest at Gandhi statue.
Today, a stage was decorated with pulses and vegetables. As a symbolic protest, they put up a tractor and a farmer could be seen sitting on it. A round noose was be seen hanging on top of the farmer stating that the farm bills are pushing them towards committing suicide.

Bharat Bandh affects life in Bihar, highways, railway tracks blocked
Railway tracks, highways and roads across Bihar were teeming with supporters of the 'Bharat Bandh', which affected normal life in the state on Tuesday with the opposition parties extending support to the protest led by the farmers' unions against the Centre's farm laws.
Police were deployed in large numbers across the state to ensure that the movement of essential goods and services remained unhindered.

Farmer protesting against farm laws found dead at Delhi's Tikri border.
A 32-year-old farmer from Sonipat was found dead at Tikri Border. He was protesting against the farm law and was protesting for the past few days at Tikri Border. He was sleeping open at a TDI park. On Tuesday morning, he was found dead. The police has taken his body for a post-mortem examination. The police suspect that the farmer died due to cold weather.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Moor and was a resident of Sonipat, Guhana. His family members have been informed about his demise.

Normal life remained largely unaffected in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday amid the nationwide shutdown, called by the agitating farmers' unions against the Centre's farm laws. Private cars and public transport were seen on the roads as usual. All the markets and business establishment remained open, while government and private offices, including banks, functioned normally.
