Punjab walo tussi kamal kar ditta: Arvind Kejriwal thanks voters for win

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal, whose party is likely to get an overwhelming majority in Punjab thanked the voters for bringing about a revolution in the state.

While interacting with the supporters after the election result projections, Kejriwal said, “'Punjab waalo tussi kamaal kar ditta', we all love you, Punjab. The results are a massive 'inquilaab', big seats have shaken up.”

Talking about all the big shot leaders, who have lost in what appears to be an anti-incumbency wave, Kejriwal said, “Sukhbir Singh Badal lost, Capt Sahab lost, Channi Sahab lost, Parkash Singh Badal lost, Navjot Singh Sidhu lost, Bikram Singh Majithia lost. Punjab has done amazing,”

The AAP leader also talked about the ongoing Ukraine situation and said, “ we will make an India where no student has to go to Ukraine to study medicine...With these results people showed that Kejriwal is not a terrorist but a real 'Desh Bhakt.”

Kejriwal, who says that his party works on the ideals of BR Ambedkar and freedom fighter Bhagat Singh said that Bhagat Singh once said if we don't change the system after the British leave, nothing will happen. Sadly in the last 75 yrs, these parties and leaders had the same British system, they were looting the country, no schools/hospitals were made.”

The Delhi CM was accompanied by his deputy Manish Sisodia.

Meanwhile, as per the voting trends so far, Punjab seems to be winning Punjab with a comfortable majority of over 80 seats.
