Singrauli Election Result 2023 Updates: BJP's Ram Niwas Shah Won From Singrauli

The counting of Madhya Pradesh polls has completed today. The counting were held in 20 rounds. In the final result BJP's Ram Niwas Shah defeated Congress' Renu Shah.

In the Singrauli Assembly Constituency of Madhya Pradesh, as of the 20th and final round of vote counting, Ram Niwas Shah from the BJP has emerged victorious with 74669 votes, securing a significant lead of 37977 votes over Renu Shah, who got 36692 votes.

Singrauli is one of Madhya Pradesh's 230 legislative assembly constituencies, situated in Singrauli District. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) aims for a fourth consecutive victory in this crucial battleground. Singrauli, integral to the state's industrial landscape, boasts 2,35,340 registered voters, including 1,21,656 males and 1,13,682 females. 

09:40 PM: BJP's Ram Niwas Shah won from Singrauli with a vote margin of 37977 votes.

04:14 PM: As of the 17th round of vote counting in the Singrauli Assembly Constituency in Madhya Pradesh, Ram Niwas Shah from the Bharatiye Janta Party is leading with 66193 votes, maintaining a margin of 32171 votes over Renu Shah of the Indian National Congress, who is trailing with 35485 votes.

02:46 PM: As of Round 12/19, Ram Niwas Shah of the BJP is leading with 17443 votes over Renu Shah of the Congress, who secured 24482 votes.

01:04 PM : Ram Niwas Shah from BJP is leading from the Singrauli constituency of MP with 10235 votes and Congress' Renu Shah is trailing. 

12:22 PM : Renu Shah of Congress is trailing from the Singrauli constituency of MP. BJP fielded Ram Niwas Shah from the seat is leading from 5626 votes in 6th round.

11:30 AM Ram Niwas Shah from BJP leading with 5160 votes while Congress' Renu Shah trailing.

The voter turnout in 2023 was 72.97%. In 2018, Ramlallu Vaishya (BJP) secured victory, defeating Renu Shah (INC) by 3,726 votes. Singrauli Assembly constituency is part of the Sidhi Lok Sabha constituency, where BJP's Riti Pathak won in 2019 by 2,86,524 votes against Ajay Arjun Singh (INC).
