The Uttar Pradesh government in an important decision on Thursday announced the scrapping of six allowances of its employees.
The allowances scrapped are--1) Two Language Encouragement allowance, 2) Computer operation encouragement allowance, 3) Irrigation allowance (Irrigation Department), 4) Cash handling allowance, 5) Post graduation allowance and 6) Allowance under voluntary family planning programme.
