Pulwama: The three terrorists killed in Pulwama encounter were identified by the security forces on Monday.

One has been identified as Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) origin terrorist, Ali Sozal and the other two as Fardeen Mohibuddin and Manzoor Ahmed Baba, who hailed from J&K's Tral and Pulwama region respectively, ANI reported.

Three AK 47, two UBGL, eight magazines, five grenades, a pouch attached with a magazine clip, a flag, and some eatables were recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, the counter-operation launched by security forces against the militants who attacked a CRPF camp in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir ended on Monday.

The operation has concluded with the recovery of the body of the third terrorist, Director General of Police SP Vaid said. The bodies of other two terrorists had been recovered on Sunday.

In a pre-dawn strike, five CRPF men were killed when heavily armed terrorists stormed the camp of the paramilitary force at Lethpora. The attack was claimed by Pakistan-based Jaish-e- Mohammed.

On the other hand, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday assured that the sacrifice of our brave jawans will not go in vain and their valour will be given due acknowledgement.

"The attack on a CRPF camp in Kashmir was a cowardly attack by terrorists. The sacrifice of our jawans won`t go in vain", he said.

"The entire nation stands with their families. We are proud of our brave jawans who lost their lives in the fighting back the terrorists", Singh added.
