Hello and welcome to our live blog for the Hockey India League (HIL) 2015 players' auction in which 277 players, including 135 Indians and 142 foreigners, will go under the hammer. Six teams are set to pick their squads for the 4th edition of the tournament, scheduled to take place next year.

But a smart business from Waveriders, as the Delhi franchise won the bid for another defender Amit Gowda.

UP Wizards won the Jaskaran Singh bid for USD 2600, then Delhi Warriors snapped up midfielder Santa Singh for USD 6000. Kiwi Nick Haig went to Punjab Warriors for his base price of USD 10,000. But Australian defender Chris Bausor failed to attract any bidder and is unsold. His base price is USD 20,000.
