Telangana, Madhya Pradesh bye elections: TRS takes early lead in Nagarjuna Sagar, Congress in Damoh.
Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi has taken an early lead in Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency, whereas, in Madhya Pradesh for the Damoh Assembly bypoll, Congress candidate Ajay Tandon is ahead of his BJP rival Rahul Singh Lodhi as per the initial trends.
As of 11:10 AM, TRS' Nomula Bhagat was leading by over 6,500 votes over Congress' K Jana Reddy. On the other hand, Congress' Tandon is ahead of BJP's Lodhi by a margin of 1,480 votes.

West Bengal: Counting of votes underway at a counting centre in Haldia of East Midnapore. Votes are being counted for Haldia, Mahishadal and Nandigram seats. TMC supremo and incumbent CM Mamata Banerjee is contesting against BJP's Suvendu Adhikari from Nandigram. Adhikari, notably, had won the seat in 2016 on TMC's ticket with a margin of 81,230 votes.
