Chhindwara is one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh state in central India. This constituency came into existence in 1951, and it presently covers the entire Chhindwara district.
Chhindwara registered 82.10 per cent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 3.05 per cent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1512369 while the total voter turnout is 1241580. While in 2014, the constituency registered 79.05 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1400830 while the total voter's turnout was 1107315.

Voting for Madhya Pradesh's 29 parliamentary constituencies will take place in four phases between April 29 to May 19. Chhindwara went to polls on April 29, the fourth of the seven-phase polls. Voting in the by-poll to Chhindwara Assembly constituency was also held on April 29. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.

Chhindwara Lok Sabha constituency comprises of eight assembly segments — Junnardeo, Amarwara, Churai, Saunsar, Chhindwara, Parasia and Pandhurna.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Congress candidate Kamal Nath had won from the seat, beating BJP's Chandrabhan Kuber Singh with a margin of 116,537 votes.
