Mumbai: The first track titled ‘Baraish’ from Arjun Kapoor – Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Half Girlfriend’ has been unveiled. Sung by Ash King and Shashaa Tirupati, ‘Baarish’ is a pleasant romantic number that sounds soothing to the ears.
The song establishes the feelings Madhav Jha (Arjun) nurtures for Riya Somani ( Shraddha) in his heart. It highlights the difference between their diametrically opposite backgrounds and the sharp contrast between their lifestyle.

Directed by Mohit Suri, ‘Half Girlfriend’ is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s namesake novel. Also starring Seema Biwas and Vikrant Massey, this tale of romance is slated to release on May 19.
