Goalpara: One United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) terrorist and one police personnel have been killed in an encounter following yesterday`s bomb blast in Assam`s Goalpara District.
At least one person was killed, while three policemen and 20 civilians were injured in yesterday`s IED blast near a police station.
The blast in Dudhnoi, 100 km west of Guwahati, had raised security concerns ahead of the second phase of Assam assembly election on April 11.
