Mulayam Singh Yadav recovering well: Doctors

Samajwadi Party chief and parliamentarian Mulayam Singh Yadav has recovered "well" from suspected swine flu even as some tests were still awaited, doctors at the Medicity Medanta hospital said here on Sunday where he is being treated.

His son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, along with parliamentarian wife Dimple Yadav, visited him during the day.

Mulayam Singh Yadav, a former union minister and UP chief minister, was admitted to the hospital early Saturday for suspected swine flu.

According to doctors, Yadav had symptoms of swine flu and has been tested for the same. Some test reports are still awaited.

AK Dubey, medical superintendent of the hospital told IANS: "Yadav`s condition is much well as compared to Saturday. There was no fever and the blood parameters of the patient are clear."

"We can`t clearly say that the patient is suffering from swine flu as some tests reports are still awaited which are expected to come by late evening on Sunday."

Akhilesh and Dimple stayed with Mulayam Singh Yadav for over one-and-a-half hour.

The hospital authorities have not said when Mulayam Singh Yadav will be discharged post-recovery.
