New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday refused to accept the resignation of its legislator Amanatullah Khan, against whom an FIR was registered a day ago following molestation charges levelled by his sister-in-law.

"We refused to accept Khan's resignation. It's a six-year-old family matter and his in-laws are dragging him into it," Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told a press conference here.

"We have found out in our investigation that he is being dragged into it," he added.

On Saturday, a complaint was registered against Khan at the Jamia Nagar police station in south Delhi.
