Audio clips confirm conversation between Kejriwal's ex-principal secretary Rajendra Kumar and other accused: CFSL

A court on Tuesday sent Rajendra Kumar, accused of misusing his official position and facilitating tenders worth Rs 9.5 crore, to five days CBI custody.

New Delhi: In huge embarrassment for Aam Aadmi Party government, the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) has confirmed that the voice samples collected by it were of Rajendra Kumar, ex-principal secretary to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, reports said on Friday.

A court on Tuesday sent Rajendra Kumar, accused of misusing his official position and facilitating tenders worth Rs 9.5 crore, to five days CBI custody.

After the court order, the Delhi government suspended Kumar.

Kumar was arrested on July 04. The charges pressed by the CBI are under sections 120-B of IPC (criminal conspiracy), and 13(2), 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act (Criminal conspiracy, criminal misconduct etc) for allegedly favouring a private company - Endeavour Systems Pvt Ltd - in bagging five contracts.
