Cloudy day ahead in Delhi

Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Monday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season`s average. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead.

New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Monday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season`s average. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead.

"Light rain and thunderstorm may occur in many parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 am was 82 percent.
The city has received 5.2 mm rainfall since Sunday.

Sunday was warm with the maximum temperature recorded at 39.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season`s average while the minimum temperature settled at 30 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season`s average.
