Cloudy morning in Delhi, MeT predicts light showers

 Delhiites today woke up to a cloudy morning with the weatherman predicting light spells of rain or thundershowers in some areas during the day. The minimum temperature was recorded as 14.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, MeT officials said.

New Delhi: Delhiites today woke up to a cloudy morning with the weatherman predicting light spells of rain or thundershowers in some areas during the day. The minimum temperature was recorded as 14.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, MeT officials said.

Despite the early morning mist, visibility was recorded at a comfortable 1200 meters at 5.30 AM and 1000 meters at 8.30 AM. The humidity at 8.30 AM was recorded 80 per cent.
MeT officials have predicted light rains during the day.

"The skies will remain partly cloudy. One or two spells of light rain or thundershowers could occur in some areas. The maximum temperature is expected to hover at 28 degrees ," said the MeT forecast.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees and the minimum had settled two notches below the season's average at 12.5 degree.
