New Delhi: Heavy rains lashed Delhi Saturday morning which led to water-logging and traffic jams in several parts of the national capital.
Traffic congestion was reported from Delhi's ITO area. Water logging reported from AIIMS flyover after continuous rainfall which began early this morning.
The traffic was badly affected at several areas - Ashok Vihar, Jasola, Okhla, IIT Gate, Chelmsford Road towards Paharganj, Ring Road Sarai Kale Khan towards DND, Sarita Vihar, Defence Colony, INA, Rajghat towards ITO, Aurbindo Marg, Anand Vihar, Wazirbad and among others.
The city has received 43 mm rainfall in the last nine hours. Minimum temperature recorded at 24.3 degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 100 percent.
