New Delhi: Cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who recently quit the BJP party, was spotted at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence, raising speculation that he may have finally decided to join the AAP party.

Sidhu has reportedly met Kejriwal at his residence on Friday night.

Though the agenda of the meeting was not immediately know, it has been speculated that they may have discussed Sidhu's entry into the AAP party.

Sidhu's home state Punjab will go to polls next year.

Campaigning by various political parties, including Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), are already going on in full swing.

Earlier, media reports had speculated that Sidhu will join the party as star campaigner. It was also reported that he would not be AAP's chief ministerial candidate in Punjab.

After quitting BJP, Sidhu had said that he quit the party as it had asked him to stay away from his home state.

He asserted that he would choose the state "hundred times" above any party or family. But, he kept everyone guessing on his future course of action.
