Arvind Kejriwal hits out at PM Narendra Modi, says babus have become 'B-teams' of BJP

New Delhi: A day after the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government suspended two DANICS-cadre officers, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday trained guns at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue.

Taking to micro-blogging website Twitter, Kejriwal alleged that DANICS and IAS associations in Delhi have become full-fledged B teams of BJP.

In a series of tweets, the Delhi CM said that the government was exploring all options against officers and will not tolerate corruption.

Here are his tweets:

Today, at least 200 senior bureaucrats of the Delhi government went on a day's protest leave over the suspension of two officials. The decision was taken by the members of the DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service) Officers' Association.

Subhash Chandra, special secretary (Prisons) and Yashpal Garg, special secretary (Prosecution), were suspended by Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party government for allegedly refusing to sign a file pertaining to the Cabinet decision to increase salary of public prosecutors.

However, the Union Home Ministry termed the suspension as null and void.
