New Delhi: After the terror attack in Patna, high alert was issued in all major cities and metros. Zee media took a stock of security alertness in the country’s capital. What we saw was a complete farce.

In 2005, there were serial blasts in Delhi which not only killed 62 innocent citizens but had left scores injured. However, security situation is still lacking here with the attitude of the men in uniform being lethargic to say the least.

This makes one wonder as to who do we trust or are we really safe in this city? We could sense complete ignorance of our security departments to verify things when we did a secret sting operation exposing security arrangements in Delhi’s major railway stations.

Our Reporter was not checked at New Delhi Railway Station. Nobody checked him while entering the platforms. We carried a big bag too but no one bothered to check or inspect the bag and not even a beep happened when passed through scanner.

Then we moved on to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. Here too the same story was repeated. Our reporter was not checked and he kept roaming around the station. Our reporter also kept a big bag he was carrying right in front of CCTV camera at the entrance and left it there but to our surprise when we came back after an hour the bag was still there.

Our next stop was Anand Vihar Railway Station. Here there was no metal detector X-ray machine. At Ghaziabad Railway Station we kept our bag along with the dustbin for hours and nothing happened.

Just think about it. If an anti social element or a terrorist wants to carry out a terror attack, then it seems to be easy for him. We later repeated the exercise in the parking area but sadly there was hardly any police or security checking of cars at any stations.
