New Delhi: AAP leader Somnath Bharti's estranged wife Lipika Mitra has ruled reconciliation with her husband.

“What I feel is that If this time I reconcile you will see my dead body coming out from his home,” Mitra said.

“Whatever I'm doing is for welfare of my children, I'm not going to reconcile,” she added.

On Bharti get interim relief from the High Court, restraining Delhi Police against arresting him till Thursday, Mitra said, “I think It's good for Mr. Bharti, now he should come out from his hiding, no reason for him to go into hiding for another 2 days. He has got this respite, now he should come out from the hiding.”

Lipika Mitra filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband at the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) on June 10, 2015, alleging that the AAP leader has been abusing her ever since their marriage in 2010, following which the police registered an FIR.

Meanwhile, the AAP has asked Bharti to surrender before police. Sources said the party was upset with Bharti as it is unable to contact him.

"We are trying to contact him, but are not able to. We advise him to surrender before police," said AAP leader Ashutosh.
