New Delhi: New Delhi is the most polluted big city in the world. The World Health Organization data showed that people living in India's capital city is inhaling world's most toxic air. It's condition is even worse than Beijing.

A recent study conducted by Pune- based India Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) revealed another shocking fact that Delhi's air pollution is reducing life expectancy of the residents by 6.4 years, 'Times of India' reported.

IITM scientists in collaboration with National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) have raised the concern over the need to improve air quality in the capital and urgently map its sources of pollution and their contribution to making Delhi an unhealthy city.
