New Delhi: BJP`s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi`s campaign is said to be one of the most humongous exercises ever undertaken by the party. Backroom strategists to party cadres to a host of volunteers have all been working round the clock to help BJP come back to power after a decade at Centre and make Modi the next PM of India.

One such exercise is the "NaMo Chai Party" which was designed to achieve 300+ seats for the BJP in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

It aims at discussions and deliberations across cities through informal `chai party`. Mostly youths are said to be involved in this so-called movement and finances for it is said to be supported by volunteers only. The organizers do not accept any donations.
As per one of the core coordinators, Anupam Kumar Pandey, the “endeavor is to create a seamless flow of `Rightful Information` which should cascade from cities to cities and thereby create a flow of `Top Down` and `Bottom Up` approach of `Party-Janta` connectivity.”

The first such `chai party` was rolled out from Uttar Pradesh in August last year but it took a more concrete shape from November 2013 onwards.

As per the volunteers, they have hosted more than 400 such events in more than 20 states till now including Assam and Manipur as well.
Their target areas used to be mostly Metro stations, colleges, universities, parks, bus stands where they would campaign for the BJP and Modi. Their aim was also to spread message of good governance, voter registration, voter awareness and youth empowerment. They also undertook door to door campaign.

In order to garner support for Modi, `NaMo Chai Party` volunteers also took their event overseas.

They have a strong presence on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter.
